How it works
Two trips: from the old apartment to storage, and from storage to the new apartment. Boxes are marked, furniture is wrapped, and the storage path — elevator, gate, opening hours — is checked in advance. A unit that is closed on moving day wastes the plan.
If the gap is one day and the volume is small, the load can sometimes stay packed until tomorrow instead of renting a unit. We say that only when it is actually possible, not as a standing promise.
What to check before you rent
Door height, a trolley, the floor, and whether a Saturday delivery is allowed if that is your date. Insurance of the contents inside the unit is with the storage company. It is not an automatic part of the moving price.
