What the day looks like
Fragile items and anything that must come apart go first: a bed, a table, sometimes a wardrobe. Then the fridge, washing machine, and sofas. Boxes follow by room, so the kitchen can be opened first if that is what you asked for.
In a building without an elevator the floor is priced in advance. If a mattress or sofa will not turn on the stairs, we stop and arrange a hoist instead of forcing the frame.

What to prepare
Clear a parking spot or agree access with the building if the truck cannot stop at the entrance. Empty the safe and document drawers yourself. Medicines and pet supplies ride in your car, not in a general box.
If the new apartment is not handed over yet, we plan temporary storage. Send both dates. Do not hide the gap.

Usually one working day with an elevator and a normal volume. Without an elevator, or with full packing, it takes longer, and we say so before setting the hour.

Yes, if packing is booked. Without it we move closed boxes and the furniture.
