A week before
Lock the date and price after photos. Tell the building about the truck. Start with what you do not use daily: books, winter clothes, guest dishes. Do not leave the kitchen for moving morning if you only booked partial packing.
Check that the new apartment is handed over the same day. If not, plan storage or a second date.
On the day and after
Open the door, show what is not traveling, and keep the corridor clear. At the end, walk room by room: furniture rebuilt, appliances in place, boxes by their labels. Payment comes after that check.
New power, water, and gas points are not an automatic part of the move. Arrange them separately if you need them.
