What comes apart
A bed with a tall headboard, a dining table, and a clothes wardrobe usually come apart. A three-seat sofa sometimes passes whole and sometimes needs a hoist. We do not take apart a glued piece “to make it easier” if it already fits.
Stone tops, glass, and mirrors travel upright and are marked fragile. Drawers come out or are locked so they do not open on the stairs.
Assembly at the other end
Assembly is included when our crew did the disassembly. Shop furniture that arrived without instructions and without screws does not become a carpentry project on site. We say that before, not after an hour of searching.
